At Es Grau, distinguish the sea bay from the inland lagoon: recreational navigation and swimming are prohibited within s’Albufera des Grau and the park’s other wetlands. At sea, respect exclusion zones and do not anchor on Posidonia or Cymodocea seagrass. Organised outings of more than 24 people landing in the park require prior written authorisation. Check the same-day forecast, water conditions and local restrictions. Follow the operator's instructions, use a buoyancy aid and stay within the authorised area. Recreational navigation is prohibited in buoyed bathing areas; use marked channels for launching and returning. Article 73 of Spain’s coastal regulations does not approve your chosen beach launch: port, municipal and protected-area rules still need checking.
