San Lorenzo al Lago stands beside Lake Fiastra, a hydroelectric reservoir in the Sibillini Mountains with a nature trail along its shore. Distinguish the land trail from access for boats: being able to reach the shore of Fiastra does not confirm a launch point or a route on the reservoir.
Before travelling to Lago di Fiastra, ask the operator whether the confirmed meeting point is in San Lorenzo al Lago or Sentiero Natura. Also confirm parking, equipment collection and return arrangements.
